Liva 7 Home Workspace

Guide status: Operating-system guidance. Last reviewed 14 August 2026. The exact cards and controls available in Home depend on the installed Liva 7 version; treat a described control as available only when it is visible in your store.

Purpose

Home is the operating brief for the store. It should answer three questions quickly: what deserves attention, what evidence supports that view, and what is safe to do next. It is not intended to reproduce every workspace or turn every signal into an instruction.

Use Home at the start of a trading session, after a material storefront change, or when responsibility passes between team members. Move into the relevant workspace when you need the underlying evidence or action controls.

Before you begin

  • Confirm that the expected Shopify store is connected.
  • Check any visible data-freshness or connection state before acting on a brief.
  • Know your current authority level: Observe, Recommend, Ask First or Auto-execute.
  • Agree the commercial objective and time horizon being reviewed.

Read the operating brief

Begin with scope. A store-wide observation is different from a product-, audience- or placement-specific observation. Then inspect the evidence state. An observed outcome, a modelled relationship and an untested hypothesis should not carry the same weight.

Priority should represent a considered combination of likely value, confidence, urgency, effort and risk. It is not a guarantee of revenue. If the underlying window is short, the sample is weak or a required source is unavailable, the brief should make that limitation visible.

Use the brief to decide where to investigate:

  • Opportunities for prioritised commercial questions.
  • Store Intelligence for the underlying store and catalogue context.
  • Recommendations for proposed work, evidence and authority.
  • Store Health when a connection, configuration or placement problem may be distorting the picture.
  • Performance when you need measured exposure, interaction or outcome detail.

Evidence and operating states

A value of zero means a valid measurement returned zero. Unknown means the system cannot currently establish the value. Learning means evidence is accumulating but is not yet strong enough for a settled judgement. Unavailable means the required source or capability cannot be used. These states should never be substituted for one another.

A saved decision is not necessarily a live storefront change. Look for the separate execution and verification states before assuming customers can see anything.

Safe use and fallback

If Home is incomplete, stale or contradictory, do not fill the gap with an estimate presented as fact. Open the source workspace, check Store Health and retain the store's existing customer experience while the issue is investigated. High-impact, irreversible or externally billed actions should remain merchant-controlled.

You are finished when

  • the store, window and evidence state are understood;
  • the next workspace and accountable person are clear;
  • no item has been treated as executed without a corresponding action and verification record; and
  • limitations or unknowns have been preserved in the handover.
