Before you begin
Use a Shopify account with permission to install and configure apps. If somebody else owns theme publication, agree who will review and publish any customer-facing work.
Connect your Shopify store
- Open Liva 7 from Shopify.Install the app if needed, then complete the Shopify approval flow shown to you.
- Return to Liva 7.Allow the initial connection checks to finish before judging whether data is missing.
- Open Store health.Check the Shopify connection, data freshness and any delivery checks relevant to your setup.
- Review your business goal.Add or confirm the direction that should guide priorities and prepared work.
- Prepare storefront delivery only if needed.Customer-facing features can require a Liva app block or app embed in the Shopify theme editor.
How to know the setup is ready
- Your Shopify connection is shown as available in Store health.
- The information needed for your current task has a source and freshness state.
- Any required app block or embed is present in the theme you intend to use.
- You can preview a customer-facing experience before publishing it.
Learning is not the same as broken
Some views need enough eligible information or activity before they become useful. A Learning or Unknown state should stay visible until the evidence is sufficient. Do not fill that gap with an assumed result.
Use a safe theme workflow
Preview theme changes before publication. If your Shopify theme is being edited by somebody else, coordinate the change so one update does not overwrite another.
