    Outcome

Prepare recommendations, bundles and messages around a clear customer need before deciding where they should appear.

    Before you begin

The products or message you want to use, plus access to a Shopify theme preview.

    Keep control

Review the experience and its placement before making it visible to shoppers.

Choose the right type of work

    Product recommendations
Relevant products for a particular visit or page context.
    Smart bundles
Products that may be useful to buy together.
    Smart content
A message, offer or piece of guidance at a useful moment.
    Placements
Where prepared experiences can appear across supported Shopify surfaces.

    Prepare an experience

    1. Name the customer need.Start with the decision or friction you want to address, not the feature you want to use.
    2. Choose the experience type.Use recommendations, a bundle or content according to that purpose.
    3. Review the inputs.Check products, audience or context, exclusions and the evidence behind the proposal.
    4. Define a safe fallback.Decide what should appear when the preferred input is unavailable or not eligible.
    5. Choose a placement.Match the experience to the page and the moment in the customer journey.
    6. Preview before publishing.Check copy, products, price context, mobile layout and the route a customer will take.

    Keep the claim proportionate

A recommendation or bundle can support discovery and decision-making, but it does not guarantee conversion, revenue or order value. Measure the actual result and keep the attribution boundary visible.

    Finish with a check

    Check the result

The approved experience appears in the intended preview, falls back safely and has not changed another part of your storefront.
