Managing Smart Content: Track, tune, and take control
See how every banner, block, and offer is performing - and make smarter decisions with less guesswork.
Overview
The Your Smart Content section in Liva 7 is your real-time dashboard for managing every piece of dynamic content you’ve launched. Whether it’s a homepage banner, a message on a collection page, or a targeted offer for returning visitors, this section gives you the tools to understand how each one is performing - and what to do next.
It’s not just a list of content. It’s a feedback loop. You can see what’s working, what’s underperforming, and where to focus your attention to keep your storefront sharp and relevant.
What you’ll see for each content block
Every content item is listed with key performance and quality indicators:
- Views - How many times the content has been shown to shoppers
- Clicks - How many times shoppers have interacted with it
- Click-through rate (CTR) - The percentage of views that led to clicks
- AI Quality - A score that reflects how well the content is matching to its intended audience
- Status - Whether the content is currently active or paused
- Actions - Options to edit, pause, or delete the content
You can also search by title, subtitle, or content type to quickly find what you need.
Understanding the AI quality score
The AI Quality score is a unique signal from Liva’s personalisation engine. It tells you how well the content is performing for its intended audience segment.
- A high score means the content is being shown to the right people and is driving engagement.
- A low score or a 'Creating a baseline' label means the AI is still learning how to match the content effectively - or that it may not be resonating with the intended audience.
This score is especially useful for prioritising your time. You can:
- Let high-quality content run and scale it to more placements
- Revisit low-quality content to adjust the targeting, messaging, or creative
- Monitor new content as it learns and improves over time
If a content block has high views but low clicks, try testing a stronger headline, clearer CTA, or more relevant image.
Managing content status and actions
You have full control over every piece of content:
- Pause content to temporarily remove it from your storefront without deleting it
- Delete content to remove it permanently
- Edit content to update visuals, copy, targeting, or display rules
This flexibility means you can respond quickly to performance trends, seasonal changes, or campaign needs - without needing to wait on design or development teams.
Using performance data to guide your strategy
The Smart Content list is more than a dashboard - it’s a decision-making tool. By reviewing this section regularly, you can:
- Identify top-performing content to replicate or scale
- Spot underperforming content early and take action
- Understand which segments respond best to which messages
- Build a library of proven content types and formats
Example: If you notice that product blocks targeted at returning visitors consistently outperform banners for new visitors, you might shift your strategy to prioritise deeper engagement over broad awareness.
Your storefront’s performance pulse
The Your Smart Content section is where you take control of your personalisation strategy. It gives you the visibility to see what’s working, the tools to make changes quickly, and the insights to keep improving.
For merchants, this means:
- No more guessing which content is performing
- No more wasted space on underperforming banners
- No more waiting on dev teams to make changes
Instead, you get a storefront that evolves with your customers - and a content strategy that gets sharper every week.
