Widget Performance View: How Liva 7 content performs across pages

Track how banners, blocks, and offers are performing on each page - and optimise placements with precision.

Overview

The Widget Performance view within the Performance tab helps merchants understand how Liva 7 Content is performing across different storefront locations. It focuses on:

  • Which pages are driving the most engagement and conversions
  • How each widget is placed, displayed, and prioritised
  • Which content formats (table, grid, auto-inject) are working best

This view is ideal for optimising your layout strategy - making sure the right content appears in the right place, in the right format, for the right audience.

Use this view to fine-tune your storefront - not just what content you show, but where and how you show it.

Page-level performance summary

At the top of the view, you’ll see a breakdown of performance by page type. For each page (like product, cart, homepage, or collections), you can see:

  • Click-through rate (CTR) - How often shoppers clicked on Liva 7 Content
  • Interactions - Total number of clicks or hovers
  • Conversions - Number of purchases influenced by content on that page
  • Revenue - Total revenue attributed to content on that page

This helps you quickly identify which pages are contributing most to Liva 7 Content performance - and which may need attention.

A page with high interactions but low conversions may need stronger calls to action or better targeting.

Widget placements overview

Below the page metrics, you’ll see a list of all active widget placements across your store. Each widget includes:

  • Widget name - For example, 'Home Recommendations' or 'Cart Offers'
  • Page type - Where the widget appears (homepage, product page, cart, etc.)
  • Mode - Whether it's a theme block, custom widget, or auto-injected
  • Display format - Table, grid, carousel, etc.
  • Status - Active or inactive
  • Priority - Determines which widget shows first if multiple are eligible

This section gives you full visibility into how content is deployed across your storefront.

Use auto-inject mode when you want the system to find the best placement automatically - ideal for testing new content.

Theme blocks vs custom widgets

  • Theme blocks are pre-configured placements tied to your store’s layout. They’re easy to activate and follow your theme’s design.
  • Custom widgets give you more control over layout, targeting, and display logic. You can place them anywhere and choose how they behave.

Use theme blocks for fast setup and consistency - use custom widgets when you need flexibility or advanced targeting.

Placement strategy meets performance data

The Widget Performance view helps merchants:

  • Understand which pages are driving content engagement and revenue
  • See exactly how each widget is placed, displayed, and prioritised
  • Identify underperforming placements and adjust strategy
  • Balance automation (auto-inject) with control (theme blocks and custom widgets)

Whether you're refining your homepage layout or testing new cart page offers, this view gives you the clarity to make informed decisions - and improve performance where it matters most.
