Your top performing widgets

A fast-track guide to data-driven personalisation

Overview

The Top Performing Widgets section in the Liva 7 Home tab gives you a clear, practical view of how your personalisation strategy is performing. It highlights which widgets are resonating with your customers, which placements are converting, and where your storefront is generating the most value.

This isn't just a report - it's a decision-making tool built for merchants who want to grow smarter.

What you'll see in this section

Each widget listed here represents a live personalisation element on your storefront - such as a smart content block, bundle, or message. For each, you'll see:

  • Widget name and placement - So you know exactly where it appears (e.g. 'Homepage - Trending Now')
  • Interactions - Total shopper engagements (clicks, hovers, views)
  • Conversions - Number of purchases influenced by that widget
  • Revenue - Total revenue attributed to sessions where the widget was engaged

Revenue is attributed when a shopper interacts with a widget and completes a purchase within a defined window. This helps you understand which widgets are actively contributing to sales.

How this helps you make better decisions

1. Focus on what's working

This section surfaces your most effective widgets - the ones that are actively driving engagement and revenue. You can quickly identify:

  • Which placements are delivering the highest returns
  • Which widget types (e.g. bundles vs content blocks) are most effective
  • Which seasonal or campaign-specific widgets are outperforming others

This allows you to confidently scale what’s working - whether that means duplicating a widget across more pages, increasing its visibility, or using it as a template for future campaigns.

2. Improve what's underperforming

Widgets with low engagement or conversion rates are opportunities for refinement. This might involve:

  • Adjusting the product mix or messaging
  • Changing the layout or visual style
  • Reconsidering the placement or visibility rules

3. Build a smarter storefront over time

By regularly reviewing this section, you can develop a deeper understanding of your customers' behaviour. You'll start to see patterns - such as which types of content perform best on mobile, or how different segments respond to bundles vs single-product blocks.

This insight helps you evolve your storefront from static to adaptive - one that learns, responds, and improves continuously.

A widget with high impressions but low engagement may be too far down the page, visually overlooked, or not relevant to the audience segment.

Additional ways to use this data

  • Compare across page types - See how widgets perform on the homepage vs product pages vs cart.
  • Track seasonal trends - Understand how performance shifts during campaigns or holidays.
  • Label widgets clearly - Use naming conventions (e.g. 'Spring 2026 - Gift Guide') to track campaign impact over time.
  • Pair with the Performance tab - See how top widgets contribute to overall revenue, AOV uplift, and engagement.

Practical actions you can take today

  • Pin your best widgets - Ensure they appear first in key placements.
  • Retire or revise low performers - Don't let underperforming widgets take up valuable space.
  • Test new formats - Use insights to experiment with layout, copy, or targeting.
  • Schedule smarter - Rotate widgets based on performance and seasonality.
  • Refine targeting - Adjust visibility rules to show the right content to the right audience.
