Give the message one clear job
Smart content should help at a defined storefront moment. Begin with what a shopper needs to understand or do, then decide whether a message is the right response.
- Open Smart content.Choose a supported creation route and identify the intended page or moment.
- Write the purpose first.State the customer question or friction the content is meant to address.
- Review the message and creative.Check accuracy, brand fit, links, offer terms and accessibility.
- Set eligibility carefully.Use only the context and audience conditions that are available and appropriate for your purpose.
- Check timing and frequency.A relevant message can still become intrusive if it appears too often or at the wrong time.
- Preview the full path.Check mobile and desktop presentation, the destination and the safe fallback before publication.
Use the smallest amount of eligible context needed to make the message useful. Do not turn a pattern into a claim about an individual shopper.
