Recent activity: stay in the loop, stay in control

A real-time feed of what Liva 7 is doing behind the scenes - so you're never guessing what changed or why.

Overview

The Recent Activity section at the bottom of the Home tab gives you a running log of what Liva 7 is doing in your store. It tracks key events and system updates that affect how your personalisation is evolving. You’ll typically see:

  • Widget updates - When a widget is created, edited, published, or paused
  • Segment changes - When a customer segment is added, updated, or reclassified
  • AI bundle generation - When Smart Bundles are created or refreshed
  • Visibility rule triggers - When a widget appears or disappears based on targeting logic
  • Learning status - When Liva is still gathering data before showing insights

If you’ve just installed Liva 7, this section may show 'Learning your store' - that means the system is still calibrating based on your traffic and catalog.

Why this matters for your growth

1. Keep track of what's changing

Liva 7 is designed to adapt in real time. As your store evolves, so do your widgets, segments, and bundles. This section helps you stay aware of those changes without needing to dig through settings or dashboards.

  • See when a new segment is created based on shopper behaviour
  • Know when a widget is updated or republished
  • Track when bundles are refreshed with new product combinations

This visibility helps you stay in sync with your storefront’s personalisation engine.

2. Spot issues before they impact sales

If something looks off - a widget isn’t showing, a segment seems empty, or a bundle disappears - this is the first place to check. You might find:

  • A widget was paused due to a visibility rule
  • A segment was updated based on new customer behaviour
  • A bundle was regenerated with different logic

By checking this section regularly, you can catch and resolve issues before they affect your customers.

3. Understand how your store is learning

Liva 7 is always learning from your data. This section shows you that learning in action:

  • When new segments are detected
  • When bundles are optimised based on performance
  • When widgets are adjusted to reflect shopper behaviour

Think of this as your personalisation timeline - a record of how your storefront is becoming more intelligent and responsive.

How to use this section effectively

  • Check it weekly - Especially after launching new widgets or campaigns
  • Use it to explain changes - If something shifts on your site, this section often holds the answer
  • Pair it with the Performance tab - See what changed, then check if it impacted results
  • Use it to train your team - It’s a great way to show how personalisation is evolving without needing to dive into settings

Your behind-the-scenes advantage

The Recent Activity section is like a flight log for your personalisation engine. It quietly tracks what’s happening, what’s changing, and what Liva is learning - all in one place. For merchants, it’s a simple but powerful way to stay informed, spot opportunities, and keep your storefront running smoothly.

It’s not about micromanaging every detail - it’s about knowing that your personalisation is active, evolving, and working for you. What’s the last update you saw here - and what might it be telling you about your store’s next move?
