Performance overview breakdown

Your high-level command centre for tracking the total impact of Liva 7 Content across your storefront.

Overview

The Performance tab is your central analytics hub for all content types: banners, product blocks, offers, and bundles. It helps you understand how personalised content is influencing shopper behaviour and business outcomes.

Just below the date range and metric toggles, you’ll find four key views:

  1. Overview - A high-level summary across all content types
  2. Widget Performance - Deep dive into banners, blocks, and offers
  3. Bundle Performance - Focused view on Smart Bundles
  4. Segment Behaviour - Insights into how different customer groups engage

Each view gives you a different lens on performance, helping you move from broad trends to tactical decisions.

Use these views to zoom in on what matters most - whether it's content type, campaign, or customer segment.

What the Overview view is designed to do

The Overview view within the Performance tab is your go-to snapshot for understanding how your Liva 7 Content is performing across all types - banners, product blocks, offers, and bundles. It’s the first stop for any merchant who wants to quickly assess:

  • The overall business impact of personalisation
  • How engagement is trending over time
  • Which types of customers are interacting with content
  • Where content is being seen and converting

This view is ideal for weekly check-ins, executive reporting, or spotting early signals that something is working - or needs attention.

The Overview view is like a health check for your personalisation strategy - it shows you what’s happening, where, and with whom.

Core business metrics

At the top of the Overview view, you’ll find three headline metrics that quantify the business value of your Liva 7 content

  • Influenced Revenue
This is the total revenue from sessions where Liva 7 Content was seen or clicked. It includes any order where content was part of the customer journey - even if it wasn’t the final click. Influenced Revenue shows how much of your sales are being touched by personalisation - not just directly driven, but assisted.
  • AOV Uplift
This measures how much higher the average order value is when Liva 7 Content is involved, compared to your store’s baseline AOV. AOV Uplift helps you see if Liva 7 Content is encouraging larger baskets - especially useful for bundles and upsells.
  • Conversion Uplift
This shows how much more likely a shopper is to convert after seeing Liva 7 Content, compared to those who didn’t. A rising Conversion Uplift means your content is doing more than just getting clicks - it’s helping close sales.

Each metric includes a 7-day comparison to help you track momentum. If the system is still collecting data, you’ll see a 'Learning' label instead of a percentage change.

Engagement trends over time

The Performance Graph visualises how shoppers are interacting with Liva 7 Content over time. You can toggle between:

  • Views - How often content was displayed
  • Cart Adds - How often shoppers added a product after seeing content
  • Purchases - How often content contributed to a completed order

You can also switch between:

  • Chart type - Line or bar
  • Time mode - Daily or cumulative
  • Date range - Today, Week, Month, or All

This lets you correlate engagement spikes or dips with specific campaigns, content launches, or seasonal events.

Use this graph to spot patterns - like weekend surges, campaign lift, or drop-offs after content changes.

Behaviour summary

Below the graph, you’ll find a quick snapshot of engagement volume and quality:

  • Total Behaviours - The sum of all tracked interactions (views, clicks, adds, purchases)
  • Cart Adds and Purchases - Raw counts for the selected time range
  • Customer Count - Number of unique shoppers who interacted with Liva 7 Content

This section helps you understand the scale of engagement and how it’s translating into action.

A high view count with low cart adds may signal a need to improve creative or targeting.

Segment snapshot

This section gives you a quick look at who’s engaging with your content and where:

  • New vs Returning - Understand whether Liva 7 Content is more effective for first-time visitors or loyal customers
  • Device Type - See how content performs on mobile, tablet, and desktop
  • Page Type - Learn which pages (e.g. homepage, product, cart) are driving the most engagement

These insights help you refine your targeting and placement strategies.

If mobile engagement is low, consider optimising content layout or image sizing for smaller screens.
