How to Use the Performance Overview dashboard

How to understand the Performance menu, read key metrics, and analyse your AI results across widgets, bundles, and segments.

Overview

The Performance Overview dashboard gives you a complete picture of how your AI experiences are contributing to engagement, conversions, and revenue across your store.

It brings together data from:

  • Personalisation widgets
  • Smart Bundles
  • Smart Content
  • Segments and visitor behaviour

The Overview tab shows high level performance metrics so you can quickly understand the impact of your AI tools without diving into individual widgets or bundles.

The dashboard helps you:

  • Measure the total influence of AI on your store
  • Identify top performing experiences
  • Spot underperforming areas
  • Compare performance across features
  • Understand how shoppers interact with your AI

Navigating to the Performance menu

To access the Performance dashboard:

  1. Open the left navigation
  2. Click 'Performance'
  3. You will land on the 'Overview' tab

From here, you can switch between:

How Performance data works

A conversion is counted when a shopper who interacted with an AI experience completes a purchase.

Revenue attribution

Revenue is attributed when:

  • A shopper interacts with an AI experience
  • They purchase an item influenced by that interaction

AOV lift

AOV lift shows how much higher the average order value is when AI is involved.

Revenue attribution helps you understand the real financial impact of your AI tools.

Understanding the Overview tab

The Overview tab provides a high level summary of your AI performance.

You will see:

  • Total impressions
  • Total clicks
  • Click through rate
  • Conversions
  • Revenue influenced by AI
  • Average order value lift
  • Engagement trends over time

These metrics help you understand both engagement and revenue impact.

Example:
If impressions are high but clicks are low, your placements may need adjustment.

Key Metrics explained

You can filter by:

  • Page type

Filtering helps you identify patterns that are not visible in the default view.

Using the 'View' button for deeper insights

The 'View' button appears next to widgets, bundles, and segments in the Performance menu.

When you click 'View', you can see:
