How to know whether a storefront change was delivered
Saved is not placed. Placed is not eligible. Eligible is not the same as genuinely shown to a shopper.

A storefront workflow can report success too early. Content exists, a block was saved or a theme preview looked correct, so the system marks the experience live. That skips the conditions between configuration and real customer delivery.
Each stage should have its own evidence and a clear route to the next one.
Follow the delivery chain
First confirm the experience version is approved and active. Then confirm the intended published Shopify theme and page template contain the matching Liva 7 block. Next evaluate product, audience, market, frequency and conflict rules.
Finally, record that the exact eligible experience rendered for a real shopper. Keep assignment and render identifiers connected so another version or synthetic preview cannot take credit.
Keep preview and failure honest
Design mode, staff sessions and safe preview are valuable for validation but do not belong in commercial delivery. A block that intentionally hides because no approved output is eligible is not broken.
Store health should identify whether the gap is configuration, theme placement, eligibility, dependency, render or event capture. One grouped issue is more useful than several alerts.
A practical route
- Confirm approval. Use the exact experience and version.
- Detect Shopify placement. Check published theme, template, embed and block.
- Evaluate eligibility. Apply current product, audience, market and safety rules.
- Record real render. Exclude preview and retain delivery identity for outcomes.
Keep these checks visible
- Recheck after theme publication
- Use bounded loading and clean hiding
- Do not infer delivery from configuration
Verified delivery protects both sides of the system: your team knows what shoppers received, and Performance knows which outcomes can legitimately enter analysis.
