- Read the reason.Understand why the item reached Inbox and which goal or condition it relates to.
- Open the evidence.Check the source, time period, confidence and affected objects before deciding.
- Check authority.Confirm who or which policy prepared, approved or carried out the action.
- Review the change.See what was altered and what was intended to remain untouched.
- Use restore when appropriate.If a recovery control is available, inspect its consequence before applying it.
- Keep the record.Use the receipt or reference when reviewing performance or contacting support.
