    Outcome

Check how clearly your products are described, review missing or conflicting information and decide what to improve. AI Discovery measures catalogue readiness, not search rankings.

    Before you begin

AI Discovery enabled for your store, with a current Shopify catalogue connection. Availability is controlled during rollout.

    Keep control

A scan is read-only. Review supported edits and use the explicit approval and publication controls before changing Shopify.

    Start with your catalogue

AI Discovery checks the product information already held by Liva 7. It highlights gaps and conflicts that can make products harder to understand. It is not a web-research tool or a score for your visibility in Google or an AI answer engine.

    1. Check availability and connection.Open AI Discovery if it is enabled for your store. Check Store health if products are missing or stale. Contact support if the workspace is not yet available.
    2. Select Scan my catalogue. The scan reads your catalogue without changing Shopify. You can leave the screen while it runs, or use Cancel to stop an active scan.
    3. Read the scan status first.Check how many products were processed and whether the scan finished. An empty catalogue is not a zero readiness score.
    4. Inspect a product and its issues.Compare the finding with the actual title, description, options and other product facts. Missing information and conflicting information need different responses.
    5. Review any suggested edit.Where an edit is available, check the original, the proposed wording and its evidence. Do not add claims or product details you cannot verify.
    6. Approve deliberately and check again.Use the supported review and publication controls only when the change is correct. Recheck after your product data updates and keep the revision history available.

    Understand the six readiness checks

    Product identity
Whether the product is clearly named and identified.
    Useful product details
Whether the details needed for that product category are present.
    Variant consistency
Whether product options and variants agree with one another.
    Title and description clarity
Whether the wording explains the product clearly.
    Care and trust information
Whether relevant guidance is available and claims are supported.
    Machine-readable setup
Whether the checked catalogue fields support structured understanding.

    Keep readiness separate from results

    No ranking or revenue promise

The score is a Liva 7 catalogue check. It does not measure actual citations, traffic, sales or placement in external AI systems. A completed scan does not publish anything or prove that your whole storefront passes a structured-data audit.

For more context, read why readiness is not a Google ranking score. For a connection problem, follow our Store health guide.

    Finish with a check

    Check the result

You can explain a product-information gap, check its evidence and choose a supported next step without treating readiness as a ranking or traffic promise.
